50th Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Lenoir of Emberson will be honored with an open house Saturday in

observance of their fiftieth wedding anniversary.

Hosts for the affair to be held at their home will be the honored couple's children, Mrs. John

McNeal and Ronnie Lenoir of Paris, Billy Lenoir of Carrollton and Charles Lenoir of Mesquite.

The Lenoirs have 11 grandchildern and two great-grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are invited to call between the hours of 7 and 9:30 p.m.

Lenoir Funeral

Funeral services for Lewis A. Lenoir, Rt. 1 Sumner, were conducted Monday morning in Fry &

Gibbs Funeral Home with the Rev. D. Presley Huchens and the Rev. Charles Hostetler officiating.

Burial was in Mt. Tabor Cem.

Bearers were David Buster, Gene Buster, Neal Collard, Bill Buster, Bill Dodson and J. C. Crabb

Mr. Lenoir died at 1:15 p.m. Sat. in St. Joseph's Hosp.

He was born March 5, 1909 in Chicota, a son of Raymond and Minnie Wynn Lenoir. He married

Lucille Sheather on Jan. 4, 1930. He was a longtime employee of Hardy oil Co. retiring in 1956.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. John (Lajunia) McNeal of Paris; three sons,

Charles Lenoir, Billy Lenoir, and Ronnie Lenoir. Three sisters; Mrs. Benny Carroll, Mrs.Cleo

Heflin and Mrs. Mary Emma Smith; Four brothers; Theo Lenoir, Clifton Lenoir, Odis Lenoir and

Buddy Lenoir.

Tuesday, 27 Mar 1990, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, 29 Mar,

in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Wilburn Simmons and the Rev. Bruce Thomas

officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Loyless was born 19 Dec 1912, in Paris, a

son of Harvey Malcom and Ruth Stone Loyless. He attended Paris schools and worked for the

R.C. Cola Co. before joining the service. He served with a construction battalion in the Navy in

the Pacific during World War II. He married Addie Lois Williams on 6 Sep 1947, in Crane, Texas,

where he worked for Gulf Oil Co. In 1977, he retired and returned to Paris. He was a member of

the Ramseur Baptist Church where he was a trustee and head usher and was a member of its

Faith Sunday School Class. Surviving are his wife; his mother who lives in Cherry Street

Nursing Home; two sons, John Eddie Loyless of Chico, Calif. and John Paul Loyless of Crane;

one daughter, Bobbie Hunter of Umpire, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. George (Inez) Cox of League

City; four grandsons; one granddaughter and two great grandchildren.' *Tombstone is

inscribed, 'PTR1, US Navy WWII.'
