Thomas³, John² Stace, Thomas¹) was born 1832 in Udimore, Sussex, England, and died

November 28, 1908 in Nelson, New Zealand. 

He married Phoebe Jane Park December 30, 1865 in Nelson, New Zealand, daughter of James

Park and Harriet Lambert.  She was born January 08, 1843 in Botany, Sydney, New South Wales,

and died February 27, 1890 in Nelson, New Zealand

Lewis and Phoebe had 9 children, only 4 reached adulthood. The only son had 3 daughters so

this branch of the Sheather name in New Zealand died out.
