Biffin:
"Aaron Biffin, himself a
wheat farmer as far back as 1842, was the first to introduce a threshing machine
into the district in the fifties, and with his son, John, father of Mr. W. A. E.
Biffin, of Camden, accepted contacts for threshing in various parts of the
district. In the early sixties the failure of crops, due to rust, ruined the

residents petition of 10th
August 1869 which was calling for the removal of the current Post Office
to another location. The
27th August petition, requested that the Post Office remain where it was
and they also gave their
full support to the present Post Master.
