October 1821 in Fovant, Wiltshire, England, and died 18 October 1902 in Camden, New South

Wales. 

He married Christine McAlister 12 October 1842 in St Andrew's Church, Sydney, New South

Wales, daughter of Donald McAlister and Jane McAlister.  She was born 21 October 1821 in

Islay, Killarrow,  Scotland, and died 14 June 1889 in Brownlow Hill, New South Wales.

He married (2) Elizabeth Hines 1891 in St Peters, Sydney, New South Wales. 

 

Notes for Aaron Biffin:

"Aaron Biffin, himself a wheat farmer as far back as 1842, was the first to introduce a threshing machine into the district in the fifties, and with his son, John, father of Mr. W. A. E. Biffin, of Camden, accepted contacts for threshing in various parts of the district. In the early sixties the failure of crops, due to rust, ruined the venture." - The Town of Camden

Aaron was a signatory on the 27th August 1869 Brownlow Hill residents petition against the frist

residents petition of 10th August 1869 which was calling for the removal of the current Post Office

to another location. The 27th August petition, requested that the Post Office remain where it was

and they also gave their full support to the present Post Master.
