10 Dec 1844 in Mittagong, New South Wales, and died 23 Dec 1924 in Sacred Heart Hospital,

Cootamundra, New South Wales. 

She married Charles Bradman 21 Feb 1860 in Berrima, New South Wales, son of John Bradman

and Lucy Rawlingson.  He was born 23 Dec 1823 in Witherfield, Suffolk, England, and died 26 Oct 1907 in Cootamundra, New South Wales.

 

Notes for Elizabeth Biffin:

She was Sir Donald Bradmans (cricketer) Grandmother.

She married Charles Bradman from the border of  Cambridgeshire & Suffolk, an area formed by

the villages of Horseneath and Haverhill. He was a farm labourer who was drawn to NSW by

gold stikes near Bathurst. In 1860, he was known to be a farmer. Elizabeth died from carcinoma

of the liver, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cootamundra.

OBITUARY
MRS BRADMAN
Mrs Elizabeth Bradman, aged 81, widow of the late Mr Charles Bradman, who predeceased her

17 years ago, died on Tuesday morning in the Sacred Heart Hospital Cootamundra.
Deceased was a native of Camden, and with her husband was among several Camdenites who

came here as pioneer settlers.
Old hands will remember their property at Jindalee. For the past four years Mrs Bradman had

been living at Bowral with her daughter, Mrs E Whatman, whose husband died some time ago.

Other daughters are Mrs Geo Freer, Cootamundra (with whom she had been staying of late),

Mrs W. Andrews of Bundanoon, sons are Mssrs Geo Bradman, Bowral and John Bradman,

Yass.The remains were interred in the Anglican Cemetery Cootamundra yesterday.
