with the Australian Naval and Military Expeditionary Force after the war in New

Guinea from 15.07.1919 - 16.08.1919 and was discharged from service on the 1sst

September 1919.

Notes for William Frederick Cook:

William enlisted with the A.I.F. on the 14th February 1916 at Kempsey, New South

Wales. He is described as 5ft 8in. 9st 2lbs with a Ruddy complexion, Blue eyes and

Sandy hair. William was discharged as medically unfit "not due to misconduct" on the

28th June 1918.

William then re-enlisted on the 2nd July 1916 at Sydney. he was discharged in

consequence of Expiration of Period of Enlistment on the 31st December 1918.

Notes for Henry Ernest Cook:

Henry enlisted with the A.I.F. on the 16th Febraury 1917 at the R.A.S.G. Sydney. He

is described as 5ft 10 1/2ins. 10st 12lbs with a Sallow complexion, Grey eyes and Light

Brown hair. Henry saw service in France where he was wounded (gassed) in action in

the field on the 22nd August 1918. He was invalided to the UK. Henry returned to

Australia on the 3rd February 1919 and was discharged from service on the 15th may

1919.
