Much of the research on these family lines was done by my late mother Elizabeth Johnson with the support of

other avid family researchers of Mary Ann Coombs and her families from the 1980's through to 2001. The

following are people Elizabeth corresponded and shared research with: Wend Van Lathum, Ian Saunders, Hilda

1.  Mary Ann7 Coombs  (Joseph6, David5, John4, Thomas3, John2, John1) was born 1846 in

Wiltshire, England, and died April 24, 1927 in District Hospital Inverell, New South Wales. 

She married (2) George Hill May 11, 1866 in Clairvaulx Station, Glen Innes, New South Wales,

son of William Hill and Mary Way.  He was born Abt. 1832 in Exeter, Devon, England, and died

August 11, 1876 in Wellingrove Mine, New South Wales. 

She met (3) James William Brown 1877.  He was born Abt. 1836 in England, and died December

19, 1890 in Toppers Mountain, Inverell, New South Wales. 

She married (4) Richard Morris May 14, 1892 in Inverel, New South Wales, son of Richard

Morris and Jane Lloyd.  He was born 1833 in Liverpool, England, and died August 17, 1910 in

Tingha, New South Wales. 

She married (5) William John Woolley November 29, 1911 in St Augustines CofE Inverell, New

South Wales, son of John Woolley and Rosana Flood.  He was born 1847 in Windsor, New South

Wales, and died October 01, 1915 in Inverell, New South Wales.
