Edward
saw service on the Gallipoli
Peninsular. He was promoted to Captain on the 22nd August 1915. On the
18th
October 1915 Edward was admitted to the 21st General
Hospital, Alexandria with Pryexia and then
with
Pryexia on the 24th October 1915. Edward was invalided to
England for embarkation to Australia. He
returned to Australia on the
14th April 1917 and was discharged from service on the 24th May
1917.
