A.I.F. on the 2th May 1915 at Liverpool, Sydney. He is

service in Egypt and
France where he was promoted to Lance
Corporal on the 15th
February 1916 and to Corporal on the 5th March 1916. Frank
was wounded (gun shot wound
leg) in action in the field on the 16th August 1916. He
was transferred to
England and admitted to the
Wharncliffe
War Hospital,
Middlewood, Shefield ont the
24th August 1916. Frank was promoted to Temp.
Sergeant in June 1917. He
returned to Australia on the 20th November 1917
and was
discharged from service on
the 19th May 1918
Frank enlisted with the
Permanent Forces A.M.F.. on the 8th October 1918 at Sydney.
