and died 25 December 1925 in Wagoragobilly, Gundagai, New South Wales. 

He married Elizabeth Edwards 29 August 1889 in Grahamstown, near Adelong, New South Wales,

daughter of George Edwards.  She was born 1852 in New South Wales, and died 06 June 1923 in

Gundagai, New South Wales.

Notes for Reginald Joseph Crane:

Reginald enlisted with the A.I.F. on the 20th January 1916 at Liverpool, Sydney. He is

described as 5ft 7in. 140lbs with a Dark complexion, Hazel eyes and Dark hair.

Reginald saw service in France where he was admitted to a Field Ambulance Hospital

with Trench Fever on the 9th June 1917. After recovery, he rejoined his unit. Reginald

was then wounded (gun shot wound back and buttock) in action in the field on the 20th

October 1917. He was invalided to England on the 26th October 1917. Reginald

rejoined his Battalion in France on the 7th April 1918 and was promoted to Lance

Corporal. Reginald was then wounded (gun shot wound right thigh severe) in action for

the 2nd time on the 30th September 1918. He was invalided to the UK and admitted to

the Graylingwell War Hospital, Chichester on the 4th October 1918. Reginald returned

to Australia on the 3rd February 1919 and was discharged from service on the 15th

March 1919.
