NIBLEY
In the name of god Amen the
foure and twenith day of May I ffrances May of North Nibley in
the countye of Gloucester widow
being weake in body but of good and pfect memory thanks
bee to allmighi god and Callinge
to minde the uncertainity of the transitory life and that all ease
must yeald unto death when it
shall please god to call do mak constitute ordaine and declare
this my last will and testament in
manner & forme followinge revokinge and Anullinge by these
present all
and
every testament and testaments will and wills hearetofore by mee made and
declared either by
word or
by writinge and this is to bee taken only for my last will and
testament And noe after And
first
beeinge penetant and sorry from the bottom of my heart for
my sins past made Humbly
deservinge forgivenesse for the same I give and comitt my
soule
unto almighty god my
saviour and Redeemer whome and by the merits of Jesus Christ
trust and
believe assuredly to bee
saved and to have full remission and forgiveness of all my sins
and
that my soule _ _ _ _ and that my soule wth my body at the
generall day of resurrection shall
rise Againe with Joy
through the merritt of Christs death and passion posses and I _ the
kingdom of heaven prepared
for his Elect and the son and my body to be buried in such place
where it shall please my my
Executor heareafter named to Appoint and now for the Setlinge my
temporall Estate and such

sonn all such goods Implements and

stuff

Thomas May on silver spoon the which Hee hath
already.
Item I give unto my daughter Ann the wife of
William Cole one shillinge to bee paid by my
Executor after one yeare of
my decease.
Item I give unto Thomas May the son of Walter

In the name of god Amen I
Thomas May of the parish of north nibley in the County of glouc,
yeoman doe make and apoint
this to be my Last Will and Testament in manner and forme
following
First I bequeath my soule
into the hands of god and for those wordely goods that god hath
given mee I doe dispose of them
as followeth.
also I give and bequeath
unto my sone Thomas May the sume of Twenty pounds to be paid by
my executrix when he shal
accomplish the age of Twenty one years
also I give and bequeath
unto my sone William May the sume of Twenty pounds to be paid by
mine executrix when he shal
accomplish the age of Twenty one years
also I give and bequeath
unto my other fouer Children Charles Nicholas John and Elizabeth to
each of them the sume of
Ten pounds to be paid by my executrix when each of them shal
acomplish the age of Twenty
one years and for all the rest of my wordly goods I give and
bequeath the same unto my
loving wife Mary May whome I make my sole executrix of this my
last will & Testament in
witnes hereof I now hereunto put my hand and seale this fifth day of
