THOMAS COOK and SARAH GREGORY.  She was born 09 May 1814 in Exeter, Devon, England,

and died 28 Dec 1891 in Torquay, Devon, England.

The London Gazette 22nd December 1854
Whereas a Petition of James Peters, late of Waterbeer-street, in the parish of St. Martin, in the city

of Exeter, now of Waterbeer-street, in the parish of St. Pancras, in the same city, Lath Render and

Timber Dealer, an insolvent debtor, having been filed in the County Court of Devonshire, at the

Castle of Exeter, and an interim order for protection from process, having been given to the said

James Peters, under the provisions of the Statutes in that case made and provided, the said James

Peters is hereby required to appear before the said Court, on the 16th day of January next, at ten

in the forenoon precisely, for his first examination touching his debts, estate and effects, and to

be further dealt with according to the provisions of the said Statutes; and the choice of the

creditors' assignees is to take place at the time so appointed. All persons indebted to the said

James Peters, or that have any of his effects, are not to pay or deliver the same but to Mr. John

Daw, Clerk of the said Court, at his office at No. 13, Bedford-circus, in the city of Exeter, the

Official Assignee of the estate and effects of the said insolvent.

In the Matter of the Petition of James Peters, late of Waterbur-street, in the parish of St. Martin, in

the city of Exeter, now of Waterbur-street, in the parish of St. Pancras, in the same city, Lathrender

and Timber Dealer.
Notice is hereby given, that John Tyrrell, Esp., Judge of the County Court of Devonshire, at

Exeter, acting in the matter of this Petition, will proceed to make a Final Order thereon, at the said

Court, on the 18th day of March next, at ten o'clock in the forenoon precisely, unless cause be

then and there shewn  to the contrary.

John Tyrrell, Esq., Judge of the County Court of Devonshire, at Exeter, authorized to act under a

Petition of Insolvency, bearing date of 19th day of December, 1854, presented by James Peters,

late of Waterbeer-street, in the parish of St. Martin, in the city of Exeter, now of Waterbeer-street,

in the parish of St. Pancras, in the same city, Lath Render and Timber Dealer, will sit on the 15th

day of January next, at ten of the clock in the forenoon precisely, at the Castle of Exeter, to Audit

the Accounts of the Assignees of the estate and effects of the said insolvent, under the said

Petition, pursuant to the Acts of Parliament made and now in force relating to insolvents; and the

said Judge will also sit on the same day, at the same hour, and at the same place, in order to make

a Dividend of the estate and effects of the said insolvent; when and where the creditors, who

have not already proved their debts, are to come prepared to prove the same, or they will be

excluded the benefit of the said Dividend. And all claims not then proved will be disallowed.

Notice of the Granting of Orders of Discharge.
The Bankrupts hereinafter named have had Orders of Discharge Granted or Suspended as

hereinafter mentioned by the several Courts acting in prosecution of their respective

Bankruptcies, and such Orders will be delivered to the Bankrupts unless an appeal be duly

entered against the judgement of the Court, and notice thereof be given to the Court.
James Peters, of Waterbeer-street, in the city of Exeter, and Parr-street in the parish of St. Sidwell,

in the county of the city of Exeter, Lath Render, adjudicated bankrupt on the 27th day of February

1864. An Order of Discharge was granted by the County Court of Devonshire, holden at Exeter,

on the 10th day of August, 1864
