Elizabeth, did not marry, died the 18 December,1913, age 73 and buried in the grave of John Edward Fitzgerald and her sister Eliza.  She was remembered for smoking a pipe..  Later discoverd she had many decendants. Electorol role 1859-60 Camden.

Ernest saw service in Egypt and France as a Driver. He was wounded (gun shot wound

to right eye) in action in France on the 12th December 1917. He was transferred to

England on the 29th December 1917 and admitted to the 2nd London General Hosptial,

Chelsea). From the 1st March 1918 he was attached to the A.D.H. as a Driver. Ernest

returned to Australia in May 1919

discharged as Medically Unit on the 13th June 1917- apparent history of Epilepsy. His

mother provides a letter to the A.I.F. confirming that he was subject to fits.
