It is believed that, at the

not known but the boy was
known as George Wratten. I could find no record of this birth but
did find that with his death
registration, in 1928, his parents are shown as Thomas and
Elizabeth. On
the
face of it George was brought up as the son of his grandparents – i.e.
Elizabeth’s mother and
family.
